Cooley represented the community and team on a very high level. I wish him the best in the future. I believe the team will honor his contributions to the sprit and traditions of the game.

Chris Cooley was one of my all time favorites. I’ve been a fan since 1973 and he made the game fun. He honored women with the NFL pink. I will miss him. Good luck wherever you go, Chris.

Whenever Cooley was on Elliot, he would always talk about “going to work” like he just had a regular job. I think he meant it. This was what he did, he loved it and that showed. He didn’t need to big-time people.

I’m not a Skins fan, but I loved Cooley because he’s the kind of pro athlete I think all of us would want to be if we had that kind of talent.

Great piece!!! I too cannot see him in another uniform.

I would of loved to see a two-TE set with Cooley and FD but I guess that won’t happen.

He will be sorely missed.

I really hope he joins the Ring of Fame

With all due respect to Bob Griffin III, (bet we all can’t wait until Week One when he earns the RGIII nickname and wows everyone), but Cooley’s added fun is much more fun than socks.
