Now that it’s confirmed today that Dale’s heading back to Ontario, it’s time for everybody to hyperventilate about the Next Coach.

I’d think gmgm would at least wait until the NHL playoffs are over because who knows? Maybe a coaching candidate is on one of the coaching staffs of the four remaining teams.

I havent even read the post. Lets just look back at other posts from the season though. The caps were rock bottom. Boudreau is fired, and Hunter steps in, and the caps find a way through rock bottom into the abyss. Then, out of nowhere, the caps make the playoffs. The #2 seed is eliminated, #1 will never forget us. Not sure what changes need to be made, other than ticket prices should be cheaper.

Joe , why would you want to fire GMGM? he has from day one continued to bring in the type of players that the coach that was in place required for their system. I am sure that he would continue to bring in the type of talent that Hunter needs for his system too. The man can Scout,Draft and Deal as good as anyone.
