This way when they all get back, they will be back to winning. Or maybe I should leave the country again and miss the next winning streak. Oh, and I have to agree with what some schmo commented a few blogs ago, that there is no way you have been a Caps fan for more than 5 years. NO WAY! You probably don't even know who Peter Bondra or Al Iafrate are, or would even think to interview them. So go to hell. Just won 14 straight, got hosed out of a possible 15th, have one of the three best players in the world and a stacked lineup behind him...and two losses later Caps Nation is fretting. That's not a criticism. It's just an outsider's observation. In the old days the sentiment would have been, "Man, let's savor that streak and talk about it for a month!" No mas. The old school, hard-core fan base expects more. Oh my, what the Great Eight hath wrought... This column accentuates the lofty status the Caps have now attained in the sports world.
