It his has been a great time watching these games. My 7 year old daughter actually knows the players and gets fired up watching 'Crosby's Son' play.
....and Dino won't come back unless we also bring back Nick Kypreos and his bucket of chicken.

Here's what pisses me off! In the old days, the Caps had an entire roster of players I could work up a good hate for. While I still can work up a good lather for the Caps as a team, I just can't hate their players. Even during those 7 epic games last May (okay, six!), I just couldn't wish for a blown-out knee for Semin or a concussion for Backstrom or for Ovie's knee to suffer the same sprain as Gonchar's (okay, that last one is a lie). This longtime hockey fan has always loved talent over every other aspect of the game, so it was was always fun to watch the Caps come up short because they so often overstressed the physical over the finesse. (Which, by the way, is what still makes it so fun to watch Philly come up short every...f'ing...year.) But now, this damn team seems built for a serious June run. I'm sure I'll get a good hate going if those two teams find each other come spring, but it would be a lot easier if they'd re-sign Dino...or Hunter...or Big Al...or...
