What has he ever done that shows you he even has an "inner gunslinger"? Some guys don't have "that" yaknow? Wouldn't surprise me to see DHall get awarded but I was thinking comeback player of the year after he picks off 10+ passes in 2009. I definitely think Brennan will play this year depending on what he shows in pre-season. After Samuels comments it appears JC is on a shorter leash than even I imagined. And if Colt somehow manages to beat out Collins for the #2 then obviously he'll get some playing time. Interesting take on Campbell. We don't actually believe everyone who lives out there smokes pot and listens to Jack Johnson. Hopefully it's apparent that we kid because we wish we lived out there (so we could promptly become a pothead surfer who listened to Jack Johnson). And to those getting caught up on whether Colt Brennan will actually have a clipboard in his hands during a game or not - you're missing the point. The folks we've talked to say he's still got a long way to go refining his fundamentals before he gets serious consideration for playing time. That being said, a strong preseason wouldn't hurt. Whether we're talking about Brennan or any of these other statements, we're not afraid to make a few predictions and put them out there for the world to see. If they work out, great.
